Surtur
Surtur is one of those flies that quietly emerges and proves its worth. It is a highly versatile pattern that has delivered consistent results across a wide range of conditions.
What does “Surtur” mean?
Surtur is a fire giant from Norse mythology — a powerful force of destruction. He comes from Muspelheim and plays a key role in Ragnarök, where he rides across the world with the sons of Muspel, setting the earth ablaze with his flaming sword. As they cross Bifröst, the bridge between Midgard and Asgard, it shatters beneath them. A fitting name for a fly that can ignite a take.
