Green Brahan Koberling - Icelandic salmon fly

Green Brahan Koberling

Green Brahan Koberling is a highly effective bright-water salmon fly that has proven itself time and again. Although inspired by the original Green Brahan, this version has evolved into its own pattern with distinct characteristics.

It is best fished on #14 and #16 wide gap hooks and has become a staple in many anglers’ fly boxes. Originally tied with a black head, later variations introduced a red head and additional cheek details.

This fly is a variant of the classic British pattern, Green Brahan.
